NearVista
What NearVista does
NearVista finds places around you — gas, food, coffee, hotels, hospitals, and more — within a radius you choose, up to 30 miles, sorted by drive time. It shows rest stops with real facility details, finds stops along any route in the order you'll reach them, tells you exactly where you are (address, county, cross streets), and lets you capture addresses into lists with a date, a note, a photo, a follow-up date, and a color tag. Lists can be printed, shared, or emailed.
Frequently asked questions
Why does NearVista ask for my location?
Everything the app does starts from where you are. Location is used only while the app is open and is never stored anywhere except on your device.
Where is my data kept?
On your phone. There is no account and no cloud copy. Use Settings → Back Up My Data to save a backup file wherever you like (iCloud Drive, Files, email), and Restore from Backup to bring it back on a new phone.
A street lookup found no house numbers.
Street address lists come from OpenStreetMap, a community-built map. Coverage is excellent in most cities and thinner in some suburbs. NearVista never invents addresses — if numbers aren't mapped yet, it says so.
What does NearVista Pro include?
Unlimited capture lists and addresses, custom category tiles, and Along My Route. It's a one-time purchase — no subscription. Nearby search, rest stops, My Location, saving places, photo notes, and Backup & Restore stay free for everyone.
I bought Pro but it isn't unlocked.
Open Settings → Restore Purchases while signed in to the same Apple Account you used to buy it.
